Overview

The VME-4905 board, with supported Built-in-Test hardware, features both offline and online fault detection and isolation. The board accepts a 14-bit digital output word (shaft angle), a reference excitation voltage,and produces a synchro or resolver output.

The VME-5504L is designed to use a single master repeater board which may be connected to as many as 16 slave repeater boards using a single pair of cable assemblies with cable taps. This configuration allows VMEbus slave I/O boards residing in one VMEbus chassis to be controlled by a VMEbus master residing in another chassis. The VMEbus chassis in which VMEbus masters reside is referred to as a master chassis, while the VMEbus slave boards reside in a slave chassis (no master in slave chassis).

Overview

The VME-4145 Analog Output Board provides four high-quality analog output channels with 16-bit resolution. Each output has a dedicated D/A Converter (DAC), and can source or sink 10 mA at ±10 V. The analog outputs can be disconnected from the field wiring for off-line testing. Autocalibration and self-test are initiated by a VMEbus system reset or by execution of a software command.
