The Bently Nevada 3500/65 temperature monitor provides 16 temperature monitoring channels and accepts temperature inputs from resistance temperature detectors (RTD) and isolated tip thermocouples (TC). The monitor adjusts these inputs and compares them with the user-programmable alarm set points.

The monitor is programmed using the 3500 rack configuration software. You can configure the 16-channel temperature monitor to accept a combination of isolated tip thermocouples, 3-wire RTDS, 4-wire RTDS, or TC and RTD inputs.

Description

The 2300 Vibration Monitors provide cost-effective

continuous vibration monitoring and protection capabilities

for less critical and spared machinery. They are specifically

designed to continuously monitor and protect essential

medium to low criticality machinery in a wide range of

industries including: oil & gas, power generation, water

treatment, pulp and paper, manufacturing, mining, cement,

and other industries.

The 2300 Vibration Monitors deliver vibration monitoring and

high vibration level alarming. They include two channels of

seismic or proximity measurement inputs from various

accelerometer, Velomitor and Proximitor types, a speed input

channel for time-synchronous measurements, and outputs

for relay contacts. The 2300/20 monitor features a

configurable 4-20 mA output which interfaces more points to

a DCS. The 2300/25 monitor features System 1 Classic

connectivity for Trendmaster SPA interface which enables

users to leverage existing DSM SPA infrastructure.

The 2300 Vibration Monitors are designed for using on a

broad range of machine trains or individual casings where

the sensor point count fits the monitor’s channel count and

where advanced signal processing is desired

The 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System consists of: o One 3300 XL 8 mm probe, o One 3300 XL extension cable1, and o One 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor2.
The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements3.

The internal barriers are fully compatible with the 3500 System and provide a convenient and cost-effective solution for installing all types of transducer systems within a hazardous area.

Unlike external barriers, 3500 Internal Barriers are an integral part of the 3500 System and will not degrade the system’s performance.  
We offer Bently Nevada transducer systems with comprehensive approvals for hazardous area installations. The transducer systems are matched to those of the 3500 Internal Barriers. See Compatible Monitors and Transducers on page 8.

Each component complies both individually and as part of a system with the safety requirements of North American and international standards.  Hence, you don’t have to reference individual certificates to verify the compatibility between components.
Standard and internal barrier monitors can reside within the same 3500 rack. You can upgrade standard monitors  by replacing existing I/O modules with those that contain internal barriers
Installation Guidelines
The internal barriers for a 3500 rack are incorporated in special Monitor I/O Modules.   These barriers provide explosion protection for transducer systems that are connected to the 3500 system.  An intrinsically safe (IS) earthing module provides the IS earth connection through the 3500 system backplane.
